Legal Notice

Last updated: 25 August 2026

1. Identification of the provider

In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce, the owner of the site and provider of the Pautia service is:

Site and application: Pautia / mipautia.com

2. Purpose

This Legal Notice governs access to the Pautia website and the general conditions for using the application where no more specific rules apply.

Pautia is a tool for personal and family use intended to organise treatments and remember doses.

Merely accessing an informational policy, such as the Privacy Policy, is not interpreted as consent to processing that legally requires consent.

3. Use of the site and of Pautia

The user must use Pautia in accordance with the law, good faith and its intended purpose.

The following are prohibited:

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the treatments, medicines, doses and schedules they enter.

Pautia is currently intended for personal and family use. A professional organisation seeking to use it to manage third parties' health data must contact the owner beforehand to determine the applicable legal and technical conditions.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The software, design, texts, graphic elements, logos and other content belonging to Pautia are protected by intellectual and industrial property law and belong to FJCG EFICATIO, or are used with the corresponding authorisation.

Access to Pautia does not imply any transfer of intellectual or industrial property rights beyond the licence needed to use the service legitimately.

Unless the law permits it or authorisation exists, it is not permitted to reproduce, distribute, transform, commercially exploit or make available to third parties the protected code, designs or content.

5. Third-party services and links

Pautia uses or allows interaction with third-party services, including Stripe, Google Drive, CIMA and certain infrastructure services.

Each third party is responsible for its own services, availability and conditions. The existence of a link or integration does not mean that Pautia controls all of the external provider's activity.

However, where Pautia selects a provider to process personal data on its behalf, it remains responsible for the obligations that fall to it under data protection law.

6. Availability

We try to keep Pautia running and to fix any errors that may occur.

We cannot guarantee that the service will be available completely without interruption, because maintenance, updates, communication failures, device problems or outages at external providers may occur.

This does not limit the consumer's legal rights in the event of a lack of conformity or a breach attributable to the trader.

7. Health information and liability

Pautia does not diagnose, prescribe or replace professional healthcare.

The specific limits and warnings relating to medicines, alerts and coordination between people are set out in the Medical Notice.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. In particular, no clause seeks to exclude liability arising from wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any other case where a limitation is prohibited.

8. Data protection and security

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

Pautia has been designed to keep most of the information relating to treatments on the device itself, and uses encryption for certain optional features.

These measures reduce risk, but do not make any technological system infallible.

9. Changes

We may amend this Legal Notice to adapt it to legal, technical or service changes. The version and update date will be shown on the page.

Changes to this Legal Notice do not allow retroactive modification of contractual rights acquired by consumers under earlier terms of sale.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

This site and service are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers resident in other territories.

Where the user is a consumer, the competent courts will be those determined under the mandatory rules of consumer protection. This Legal Notice does not impose a waiver of the forum legally available to the consumer.

Consumers may also turn to the competent authorities and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
